MSN Circuit Rally Championship Rd7.

Rob & Sion took part in Rd7 of the championship at Anglesey Circuit in March in a very strong entry.

This was the first event back on in the R5 since November 2019 and they were using this event as a warm up to the North West Stages 2 weeks later.

The pairing got off to a good start lying 4th after the 1st pair of stages. There confidence then started to grow and they started to climb the leader board even more, after 4 stages they were now sitting in 2nd position only a few seconds behind the leader.

After the next couple of stages the pair had taken the lead with only a second or so in it, then going into the final stage having dropped a couple of seconds the weather decided to take a turn.

The rain started to appear and all crews had a big decision to make on tyre choice. The battle was on and unfortunately it wasn't Rob & Sion's day as a moved chicane forced them to take drastic measures and then having a power steering failure meant they dropped  time and finished 2nd overall on the Lee Holland Stages.
